Our canine training includes Wilderness Air Scent, Human Remains Detection, Trailing and First Responder activities on both land and water in a variety of terrains and conditions.  BSAR canines also work on obedience and agility exercises for optimum conditioning.

BSAR members support the Search and Rescue Technician program and are all SAR Tech I, II and III's.  In addition, we have additional certifications to include amateur radio operators, medics, CPR and AED, basic first aide, canine first aide, as well as many other command classes such as Incident Command (numerous levels), helicopter operations, wmd, hazardous materials, etc.  We are constantly learning and growing as searchers and individuals.
