Our Mounted Unit was formed in 2007 and is led by Mounted Chief Laurie.  Mounted members also include Tim  and Teresa .  The BSAR Mounted units must pass a rigorous certification test in order to be classified as a Mounted Unit.  If you are interested in volunteering with our mounted unit you must be willing to attend trainings and become a search and rescue technician with skills not only in riding, but search strategy, navigation, safety, survivial, map reading, compass skills, and other SAR related skills like tracking.  Contact the Mounted Leader at:  laurie@brunswicksar.org for more information.
