December 2011: A HUGE Welcome to our own Dr. Steve Jaffee, our search
partner and trusted vet who we have added to our roster now as an honorary BSAR member!! Welcome Dr. J...you are now
officially one of us!!! Dr. Jaffee has searched with us, advised and protected us for the past year and we love him
dearly!! He joins Dr. Rabon as our team vets taking care of our K9 partners.
October 2011: Search callouts
continue and it has been a quite busy year this year from drownings to missing teens, to homicide investigations and cemetery
work. It is never dull!!
May 2011: Training continues. Search callouts continue, including a
tornado or two....we continue to serve our community and state.
April 2011: Tenley Lynn Cooke joined the
family....granddaughter of Tim Smith.
March 2011: What a great team to work and train with!! We are
having a ball on rubble for the past several years and just amazed at the dexterity of our dogs as they traverse the huge
rubble. WE are so lucky to have such a great training site and wonderful members to work with~~ Thank you BSAR!!
February, 2011: Welcome to the latest certified K9 on the BSAR team!! Wendy and K9 Beau passed their Wilderness
Air Scent Certification Tesing and are now on the active and certified roster for our team. GREAT job Wendy and Beau!!
January, 2011: We say rest easy to K9 Bailey who retired with 12 years of service to the Brunswick Search and
Rescue Team...he served us well in over 200 missions with multiple finds...thank you Bailey!!
